One day I decided
'Twas about time
To find me a princess
For a love that's all mine.
So I tried one great site
Called Matchmaker.com
All sorts of maidens did email
All over the planet they were from.
I had many dates
Yet nothing did click
Until I met Amy
Then I knew pretty quick
That she was my princess
The one I adored
I got down on my knees
For her love I implored.
For the first time in my life
The fireworks went boom
She's brought so much love
That my heart's all abloom.
How easy it was
To speak anything at all
Without her prejudging
My past, great and small.
On this October day
My heart goes pit-a-pat
For it's you Amy
That make me swoon and all that.
You compliment me
In areas that I'm weak
With so much love
You're truly unique.
Making me want
To be the best I can be
Can only happen
When two become "we."
As I look forward
To a lifetime forever
This poem comes with love
For our hearts will join together
